Day of Dance at Madrone Yule

The Barony of Madrone will be hosting a Day of Dance on December 13 in Seattle as part of our Madrone Yule event.

Come join us for a day of learning and practicing a wide variety of dances, drawn from several period sources. Some will be familiar friends to our local dance community; others will be taught for the first time at Day of Dance this year. Our program for 2025 is designed to be accessible to new and beginning dancers, so if you haven't danced before, this is a great time to try it out!

Schedule details will be available soon. Dance instruction begins in the morning, pauses for a lunch break, and then continues in the afternoon. After a Baronial court and a potluck feast, there will be a ball in the evening with live music. The event fee is $30 for adults ($10 discount for SCA members). Youth 17 & under are free. An attempt at period costume is required.
