Day of Dance XV

Warm Dances for a Cold Winter
Saturday, March 29, 2008
Canton of Porte de l'Eau
Ballard, WA

The Canton of Porte de l'Eau invites you to its fifteenth annual Day of Dance, to be held on Saturday, March 29. Ladies and gentlemen of all levels of dancing experience are invited to come. New and old dances will be taught. The site will open at noon for a dance practice with dance instruction before the event; practice commences at 1 PM. The event begins at 6:00 and the ball will begin at 7pm. The site will close at 11:30pm.

This year we are holding a dessert competition, to be judged by the musicians of the band and the dance instructors.  Period recipes are encouraged, of course, but by no means required.  After judging, any extra desserts will be shared among the populace, so we invite you to bring enough to share.

The site is wet; period containers, please.

The populace of Porte de l’Eau especially wishes to extend an invitation to those attending the Crown Council that day to come join us after the council is over for an evenings revel.
