Verse 1. Up a double and back. Set and turn single. That again.

Chorus. Join hands along lines of gender. Double forward to meet. Double back. First couple join hands, and goes down the center of the set, separating so the first gentleman goes under the arms of the other men, lady goes under the arms of other ladies. End at the bottom of the set. Chorus repeats, with new first couple going down. Chorus repeats again.

Verse 2. Siding, with set and turns. Chorus as before.

Verse 3. Arming, with set and turns. Chorus as before.

Wherligig  ****

Longways for 3 couples

Up a double and back, that again.

2nd couple: go up between 1st couple and cast to place, cross between 1st and cast to partner’s place, then down between 3rd and cast to partner’s place, cross between 3rd and cast to own place. All cast off from top, 3rd couple remaining at top. Repeat this figure until all are in original places.

Side left and right.

2nd man turns 1st woman and starts hey with 1st couple ending in original place while 2nd woman does same with 3rd couple, then 2nd man does same with 1st couple while 2nd woman does same with 3rd couple; cast and repeat as before.

Arm left and right.

1st and 2nd couple cast to place, then right hand star to place; then 3rd and 2nd couple cast from bottom to place, then star to place; cast and repeat as before.

Fourth Set

Reverence, branle, singles, 3 doubles, singles on right, double back on right.

Flowers: Men singles, double back as women do 2 doubles turning in place. Repeat with genders reversed. Interlude: Singles, double, desmarche, branle. Hearts: Singles diagonally away from partner, double turning in toward partner to end facing down. Repeat to end facing up.

Singles, 3 doubles, singles on right, double back on right, branle, reverence.

Contentezza d’Amore ****

1. Partners circling: Reverenza, cont left and right. 4 riprese left, 4 riprese right. Cont left and right. Reverenza.

2. Women: Left, up-down; right, up-down; left, right, up-up-flat. That again. Forward, back, reverenza.

3. Men: Catch up with the same.

4. Half moon figure. Women: left, right, up-up-down; right, left, up-up-down to other side of partner. Men: the same. Forward, back, reverenza.

5. Left, up-down, right up-down to trade, 6 more to return to where we started. Forward, back, reverenza.

6. Step-slides to change places. 6 more up the hall. Circle left with 8 riprese, then circle back with 8 riprese. Trabuchetti left right left right, reverenza.

1st and 3rd couples circle hands-four. 3rd & 1st couples cast from bottom to place.

1st couple cast to 3rd place while 2nd and 3rd couples two-hand turn partner.

Repeat from beginning, renumbering couples in their new positions.
